Psychomotor Retraining

Psychomotor retraining uses movement as a foundation to support a child's overall development. The goal is to reintegrate psychomotor functions through individually tailored exercises and therapeutic activities.

  • Overcoming challenges such as psychomotor instability, praxis disorders, tics, and behavioral difficulties

  • Strengthening muscle tone, motor stability, and coordination

Who Can Benefit from This Treatment

Psychomotor retraining is particularly suitable for children with:

  • Disharmonic development

  • Dyspraxia and motor coordination difficulties

  • Pervasive developmental disorder

  • Intellectual disabilities

Duration and Frequency

  • Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes

  • The program is conducted individually and tailored to the child's abilities and needs. In most cases, at least two sessions per week are recommended initially
